2011 Recap: TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4

On the 19th of September, three months ago, TCM-Gaming officially announced the signing of the Online-Kingdom Call of Duty 4 team.

The team who are one of the best teams in Europe joined the organization with a line-up change with  Petr 'king' Elbogen making way for  Declan 'germaine' Elcocks, who was part of the very succesful 2009 line-up of TCM.

TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4:

Altough the team have only been part of TCM-Gaming for a short time, there have been some exciting and memorable moments throughout the three months. In this article we will be looking at what the team has accomplished during their time as the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 line-up in 2011.

It didn’t take long for the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 team to grab their first tournament victory under the TCM-Gaming banner. Just two weeks after signing the team competed in the 13th Edition of the Alienware Cup hosted by Team Dignitas.

Following a strong performance throughout the tournament the TCM.COD4 line-up beat European side Protective Gaming in the Grand Final to cash in on the £200 pound cash prize and add their first trophy as part of TCM-Gaming.

On the 8th of October both of the Czech Republic players  Jan ’paradox’ Duchon and  Lubomir ’Luboshmir’ Pesak attended the Grunex Call of Duty 4 lan which took place at  Prague, Czech Republic. Jan and Lubomir were joined by King, Mazarini and hectic, who compete under the TCM-Gaming name for the event. The team finished second at the event, after losing to Authority Gaming in the final.

October also saw the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 line-up compete in a series of games in the CyberGamer Invite League, EuroCup XXIV and the Esports Fineness ladder. Both Declan and Jan were also in attendance at the London International Technology Show, where TCM-Gaming were working closely together with CCL Computers. Declan and Jan played in a series of shootouts with the visitors, who were able to win a Iiyama monitor.

COD4 October Media:

November marked the official LAN debut for the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 squad, as the team made their way to Multiplay’s 44th Edition of the Insomnia Gaming Festivals, which took place at the International Center in  Telford, Shropshire from the 18th till the 20th of November.

Following three days on exciting moments, matches and brawls, the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 team grabbed their first ever LAN Event victory under the TCM-Gaming organization, after signing in September. The tournament ended with the TCM.COD4 line-up beating Phantasmix in the Grand Final to be crowned the Champions of Insomnia44.

November also saw the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 line-up compter in a couple matches in the CyberGamer Invite League and Euro Cup XXIV

Two weeks after winning the Insomnia 44 event the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 line-up attended the E-Series Maximus event, which took place at the KaoS Game Center in  Weesp, Netherlands from the 2nd – 4th of December.

Following three action packed days of Call of Duty 4 games it came down to TCM-Gaming versus Anexis Esports to determin, who will walk out as the Champions of E-Series Maximus. Anexis Esports were able to keep their 100% offline record alive, after beating the TCM-Gaming Call of Duty 4 line-up in the Grand Final.

December also saw the TCM-Gaming COD4 squad compete in the CyberGamer Invite League and in the SPARKLE Cup.

Altough they’ve spent only three months part of the TCM-Gaming organization the team have already achieved a lot with being crowned the Champions of Insomnia 44 and finishing as Runner-Ups at the E-Series Maximus event.

With 2011 now almost behind us the team are now gearing up for the new season which promises to be full of action with events such as DockYardLan, insomnia45 and Gurnex Lan #2 to name few. Look forward to an in-depth interview  Jan 'paradox' Duchon, which will be released in the new year.
